Does anyone think about how much good could be done in L.A. alone with the money spent to produce this, not to mention the money spent on clothes and jewelry and limos?
Or just with the $80,000 for each nominee's gift bag.
That is a very annoying Cadillac commercial. I suspect I'm not the target audience.
I'm not watching, but my FB feed had 3 Jared Leto posts in a row (one of them was Hil's): "Interesting wardrobe choice by Jared Leto."; "Jared Leto's making me sniffle."; and "Jared Leto will never stop talking."
It made me laugh.
Is it the Cadillac commercial about how people who take 4 weeks of vacation don't want to succeed?
Jared's tux looked like a prom night tux.
Someone on Tumblr posted a picture of Jared Leto next to a picture of Buddy Christ from Dogma. The resemblance was uncanny.
Today was BUSY and I'm tucked in bed watching the Oscars.
We got a lot of the kitchen packed - serving dishes, crystal, small appliances. Then all the DVD's, all the artwork and photos (my walls look so naked), and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. Got CJ to pack up part of his room. ALso made 18 freezer meals, splitting them with K-Bug. She helped a bunch today.
We are almost down to just the stuff we use on a frequent enough basis to wait to pack.
I'm still angry that Pacific Rim didn't get nominated for Special Effects.
I'm still gobsmacked that The Lone Ranger did.
I am at LAX playing a guessing game with my plane. Currently delayed 45 minutes, and they just gave our gate away.

I'm not watching the Oscars. I just don't care this year, I'd rather watch recorded TV.
Did not get any cardboard broken down or pancakes made, but I did make waffles. That scrambled eggs in the waffle iron thing works quite well, I'll find out tomorrow if the results reheat okay. Also made regular waffles and had the idea that dinner could be Goat Pot Roast and Waffles and that seems just extraordinarily funny to me which I think means I have done enough today and it is time to veg. Things that didn't get done will have to wait.
