I expected to see lot more red carpet posts by now.
Went for a run - not only did I not get hit with another reaction, I was able to actually keep running (slowly, but one thing at a time) through all the "free running" portions of the training. It's like I am actually improving my physical conditioning via this training.
GO -t!
I am watching the pre-show, and found both the twitter bit and the cadillac ad offensive. I maybe shouldn't be watching.
yep - hating the pre-show.
Go -t!
I'm watching TAR, and will go back after for a little Oscars, but I am 100% not allowed to watch the whole thing. I have to go to bed early!
Pre-show person's white dress was extraordinarily ugly.
Even Ellen is rocking the blue-blazer-with-black-lapels look tonight!
Love Ellen normally, but some of her jokes are hitting me wrong.
I was thinking much the same thing, Lee. I'm cringing as much as I'm laughing.
Hated the preshow as well. But now that it's on, I've decided to put aside the grading and pour myself a lemondrop. Yum.
I think if you're in a shitty mood (I am) the whole thing really reeks of self-love and obscene excess. Where are the shows celebrating doctors and firefighters and teachers? Does anyone think about how much good could be done in L.A. alone with the money spent to produce this, not to mention the money spent on clothes and jewelry and limos?
I'm in a *really* bad mood, to be clear.
