That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It looks like something I would only give a toddler in a pinch, honestly.

Unless they are using some kind of magic alien technology to seal the snack compartment into the drink compartment, I predict about twelve seconds from the time you hand this thing to your toddler and the time she dumps juice all over the back seat of your car.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know, if I saw one of those at the grocery store I might buy it. For me, not to give to a toddler.

She said while eating Jell-o out of a mason jar.

If it fits in a standard drink holder, this would actually be a pretty useful adult car food container. Trail mix in the top, iced coffee in the bottom!

I was thinking macadamia nuts and chocolate egg cream at work, but yeah.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Woke up at 4 am to find our upstairs bathroom had FUBARed and a pipe had come loose, resulting in the kitchen ceiling leaking.

DO. NOT. WANT.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh no! What an awful morning discovery!

Yeah, it was less than joyful.

Plus, we have house worries again. Dan needs to get the ex off the mortgage, but to do so, he would have to either refinance the house (can't; credit is too bad) or sell the house (can't: house has depreciated too much in the last 9 years.)

So our only hope is if his parents can buy the house and we can pay them the mortgage. His mom is coming down next week to go to the bank and see what can be done. So everything is very up in the air and tenuous, and it's very stressful, to put it mildly.

Argh, Strix! Either one of those is bad, both at the same time seems like piling on.

Yeah, it's a PITA. I'm just trying to stay positive. There's no use worrying until we know more next week, and then we'll just take it from there. Thanks be that his folks are awesome and are going to help us, be it buying this house, or letting the bank have it and buying a different house. It could be so much worse, and I'm truly grateful for them.

Argh, Strix, that's awful.

But yay that you have family who are willing to help out.
