Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks. TCG is up that way, and I was wondering if he was going to be driving in snow.

I was also confused by the Miles O'Brien.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I don't object to the snow per se, as much as the fact that for it to snow, it has to be pretty damn cold. Like, freezing. I object to the cold. (Actually right now snow would be a warm-up; it's really too cold to snow right now.)

Because of that parenthetical, I would welcome snow right now. I'd be happy if it just stayed about 20°F for a while.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

So, apparently I am the only dumbass who thought: "oh my goodness! I cannot believe the ST actor had his arm amputated."

I thought, "That's weird they'd call him by the character's name instead of his own. I wonder..." then clicked through to the real guy. (So no, plenty of dumbass to go around :) ).

Punishingly Intricate

NO MORE STORMS UNTIL SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

I don't think we're supposed to get anything until rain on Monday.

All I want is for this gd cold to die. It's been over two weeks! And maybe was two or three colds stacked up but, whatever, argh. bleh. I just want my nose to heal.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

So, apparently I am the only dumbass who thought: "oh my goodness! I cannot believe the ST actor had his arm amputated."

Not the only one, le nub!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

That's not how it works! That's not how any of this works!

Preach it, sister. And I'm doing this internally, with my own people.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

No more colds!

It was blissfully rainy here last night and Noah was thrilled because his cub scout den made rain gauges. I'm annoyed that it's not a 1 inch cylinder (they used water bottles) because I can't figure out how an inch is really an inch in this system. Doesn't matter as he was excited.

He also got an award on Monday, which he was stoked about. It was for the character trait that they had this month (honesty)and he was supposed to invite us to the ceremony but forgot to give us the envelope.

Ever since he got an award, he's been an absolute peach of a kid too! I wonder if it would be like this if we could figure out how to have him get awards all the time.

Grace does not have that reaction, though. She gets an award, is proud and then sort of indifferent.

AND, my team got a $10,000 award which we are going to spend on books, mostly non fiction -- Henrietta Lacks, A Few Seconds of Panic and Unbroken are my first choices.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Good things, Kat!

We are hoping hoping for rain. We are optimistically planning on restacking and covering the firewood tomorrow morning in anticipation of precipitation's arrival on the afternoon. We shall see what actually transpires.
