Last week, I saw something on Facebook (I think it was Night Vale's NRA bumper stickers), and I was all "What is Night Vale? Is that the town Teen Wolf is set in?" (I have NO idea why I assumed Teen Wolf.)
And then the other day, Amy Parker posted something about it on Facebook, I was intrigued, Googled and read this article: [link] and thought, well, I have extra free time these days, maybe I'll give it a shot.
Then my dad called today and needed me to pick him up from the hospital, which is a 20- to 30-minute one-way trip for me, so I figured the drive there (and back) was a good time to check it out. And it is AWESOME.
ita, we are back from a soccer meeting. Do you need me to come by and stock your fridge or pantry?
Night Vale is indeed awesome. I'm cackling just thinking about what some of you have still to encounter.
ALL HAIL!
I know, right, Anne?
Ugh ita, I am so sorry! I am around too, although I'm watching my sis right now, but I can probably find time tomorrow to help out a bit.
I'm spoiled for a lot of stuff in Night Vale, because the StuntHusband has become an enthusiastic fan, and will just recite things at me.
Hivemind, what do we think of this: [link]
I'm trying to decide if it will work over my gothy sundresses. Okay, it will, but I'm trying to figure out if it will be too small. The largest size I've found it in is a M, but it's supposed to be worn open in the front anyway ...
It's purty, Jilli
I like it, Jilli. It's very striking, and would look lovely over pink or burgundy or even a black fabric with a different undertone. I think it's drapey/unstructured enough to be forgiving.
