Timelies all!
Wacky weather here. Snowed for a few hours this morning, then it was sunny most of the afternoon. More snow tonight. Whee.

Steph, baked egg in avocado, with bacon: [link]
It's going to rain here, tomorrow! Yay!
Well, mostly yay. Except I'm going to dinner with my prospective employer (and prospective coworkers) at a fancy restaurant, and I would rather not arrive dripping. AND it will mean skipping book club, fooey.
ION, we had a fire drill at the office I'm working at today, and I stood outside downwind of a few smokers for ten minutes. And the smell got into my sweater, and four hours later I feel like I'm in a bar. It's amazing how sensitized I've become over the years, as the public acceptance of smoking has declined.
Ok, the blogger addresses the fact that warm avocado, on its face, does not sound appealing. But I think I could be convinced.
Just had a lovely Avengers/MCU discussion over the cubicle walls. Ah, nerds. We agreed that you can trust the comics canon information on Wikipedia because the nerds keep it honest.
I have been told that you can bake avocado like a potato and it tastes different from the raw but still good. Haven't tried it yet, though. Possibly it is a thing best done with not-quite-ripe avocados? I forget.
I am not going to have that (by which I mean Strix's link) for dinner only because the only avocado I have (a) has been in the freezer and (2) is earmarked for avocado and bacon deviled eggs. I should totally make both for the same meal at some point!
I had crab nachos tonight with the most delicious crab guacamole, so I'm all happily avacado'd this evening.
That sounds like a world of yum. I had fettucine alfredo; can't complain.
It was the bi-monthly writers' group dinner. It was very good to get out of the house (I even had a beer!).
It's officially: blue corn nachos with crab artichoke salad, feta-Jack cheese, black beans, and avocado salsa. It was also enormous. I didn't even finish half of it, although my friend Ilene helped.

Guh.
I made one of my favorite white chili recipes tonight though, so I really can't complain.
