Ah, that's the difference, you're in "the city", where the hippy liberal commies insist on public services instead of following a proper pioneer spirit of independence.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ION, next week my company is changing its name. Should be interesting to see how this goes down on such a large scale. Interestingly, the apparent reason for the change is that the current name is too hard to pronounce in China.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Connie, that may be, but every single person in the SLC office has expressed shock, SHOCK I TELL YOU, that I'd take public transportation instead of renting a car. And we are definitely a hippy liberal commie company.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Tomorrow's high will be 25 degrees colder than today's. And the high will be reached in the early hours of the morning, and then keep plummeting. Ah, weather, you bitch.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Wacky weather here. Snowed for a few hours this morning, then it was sunny most of the afternoon. More snow tonight. Whee.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's going to rain here, tomorrow! Yay!

Well, mostly yay. Except I'm going to dinner with my prospective employer (and prospective coworkers) at a fancy restaurant, and I would rather not arrive dripping. AND it will mean skipping book club, fooey.

ION, we had a fire drill at the office I'm working at today, and I stood outside downwind of a few smokers for ten minutes. And the smell got into my sweater, and four hours later I feel like I'm in a bar. It's amazing how sensitized I've become over the years, as the public acceptance of smoking has declined.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ok, the blogger addresses the fact that warm avocado, on its face, does not sound appealing. But I think I could be convinced.
