Punishingly Intricate

We can compare funky crutch accessories! After I get some, that is.

Crotch accessories!!!! oh...wait.

You guys take care of yourselves! And I'm glad there are nice folks nearby to help you do that.

I got up and walked the dog and then napped because my go to market friend had slept through her alarm and was an hour late. Then I marketed the hell out of that market. Then went for a hot and not as long as I planned bike ride. Still, almost 15 miles and a couple of serious hills is better than nothing. Now, I have nothing else planned until dinner tonight. I'm drinking cherry lemonade and pelligrino and thinking I should really do some meal planning, which I never really do beyond one meal at a time plus vague ideas. But I got a ton of produce that I will need to use this week and I totally failed at lunches last week. I had to buy lunch 4 times when I usually only buy once or twice at the most. Fail!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, ita.

Went to services this morning because it is the 60th anniversary of my FIL's bar mitzvah, and he was chanting the haftorah portion. Afterwards he took us and a bunch of his friends to lunch. We also made a trip to REI so I could get a rain jacket and Gary could get a daypack.

Score! My favorite farm's grape harvest started this week , so I now have a big bowlful of the really tasty Concord grapes (hopefully without bonus spiders), as well as a bunch of tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants. Also bought a pound of pricey brisket for work lunches next week and some delicious BBQ ribs for lunch today, as well as a 4 lb. bag of grilled chicken breasts for about 12 dinners.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

what do y'all think about this article: "being a manager doesn't make you a leader?"

[link]

It feels like 50% of this is bs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That looks really good on you, shrift.

LeN, I think that article is pretty vapid and useless. Having worked with managers who only asked questions, then what? Where is the leadership when there's no authority or higher level decision making? I'm assuming the manager has talent and information I don't so sometimes, they need to square up and manage people.

Awesome, shrift!
