Another unusually warm day here. Well, at least a large amount of the snow from last week has melted as a result.

ION, I hope everything is OK with our usual babysitter. She's usually quick with texts/emails, but she hasn't responded to either of my last two messages (sent about two weeks ago and then four days ago), so I'm uncertain what that means, except that she won't be watching our kid tomorrow night. So the last-minute scramble to find someone else begins...

Great, Dad got dizzy and nearly fell while out walking with the trainer today. No idea if he was dehydrated, low blood sugar, or just tired from the exercise.

... and this is why I'm both considering and not considering taking a job out of the area. Argh.

I flew home late last night and went straight to the sleep center and did a study with the cpap. I now have a seemingly-ginormous machine (not actually, but when I think about the hassle of fitting it in my luggage???) to try to get used to. I really hope this like, magically makes me a morning person or some shit.

Making pasta. The "sauce" is chicken breasts, lemon juice, olive oil, a little butter, mushrooms, onions asparagus and appropriate herbs and spices. Normally my reflex is always to add cheese to pasta, but with this combo, probably not. So no mozzarella because it might clash with the asparagus. Agree? Disagree?

Parmesan goes well with asparagus. I think mozzarella would, too, I'm fairly sure I've had it on pizza. But that doesn't sound like it needs cheese, necessarily.

Baking cookies for my crazy husband who is going camping this weekend. (I have no idea what impulse possessed me, but I decided he should have Toll House cookies to take backpacking. So I dug a renegade bag of wheat flour out of the back of the pantry and made some cookies. I feel like I deserve a Donna Reed badge or something.)
