Where is everyone?
Baking cookies for my crazy husband who is going camping this weekend. (I have no idea what impulse possessed me, but I decided he should have Toll House cookies to take backpacking. So I dug a renegade bag of wheat flour out of the back of the pantry and made some cookies. I feel like I deserve a Donna Reed badge or something.)
I'm in San Francisco shoving pad see ew in my face.
Well, those both sound like worthy occupations. Carry on.
You should totally get a merit badge for baking cookies you can't eat, Tep. That's nobility right there.
I went to Trader Joe's (how I love being able to say that) with K-Bug and D. Now I'm done. No packing tonight.
CJ made sesame chicken and rice for dinner. It is nommy.
I went to Staples and Wegman's, and now I'm looking at the pile of dirty dishes and thinking that I ought to put them in the dishwasher.
I am home, finally, but I have no nommy food. At least until tomorrow.
Shrift, do you know how to get to the Ferry Building?
I declined to go to TJ's, as the traffic was awful. I have eaten, but am still hungry.
Woes, I somehow tweaked my achilles today. How I don't know, I only discovered it towards the end of my swim (and that's not my dominant foot for shoving off the wall, so wtf?)
There were a couple of 20something guys in the lane next to me who were doing that annoying thing where they'd start their intermittent laps with me (and were splashy and churny) and try to race me. It's always preteen boys up to 30 or so and preteen girls who do this. Anyway, it's a little annoying but whatever. Then they TOTALLY redeemed themselves when I finished 'So how long did you swim?' Well, that was 75 laps. '75! We could barely keep ahead of you for a lap without stopping. That's fucking insane.'
Thank you, boys, thank you. You are forgiven for the annoying thing.

I should be able to manage on the California Street Line or a bus. I'll probably pick up a 7-Day pass at my hotel.
Edit: I may even walk if it's nice.
Do you remember the Levi's O Pioneers ad? That's what the Apple ad reminds me of.
