I decided to work from home today since I need to leave early for the airport, and I didn't want to haul my giant suitcase downtown through piles of snow this morning. I probably should put on some makeup and fix my hair while my coworkers decide if we're actually having the meeting that starts in 20 minutes.

Someone heard me coughing and decided I needed to work from home today. I am okay with that, as I am still tired and could use the opportunity to nap between working on things, but I am 95% sure I am not contagious. Our manager's cousin died from the flu last week, so everyone's a little extra paranoid about germs right now.
Sympathies, Sox. That sounds like a really tiresome way for someone you are related to to live, and no picnic for you.
I think my generalized ick from the past couple of days is turning out to be a cold. Damnit.
Someone cleared off my car for me this morning. I suspect the Serbian guy from across the street.
FIFTY-ONE DEGREES IN THE 'NATI, BITCHES WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Sorry for the ASSCAPS, but seriously, man, 51 degrees deserves asscaps. I'm going to go to the library right now, WITHOUT A COAT. Awwwww yeah.

When CJ goes out to clear off my car, he will disappear for an hour cause he is cleaning off the other cars in the lot also.
But I may only be interested in amusing myself, and not actually helping.
If the shoe were on the other foot (which it would never be) I might be purchasing popcorn right about now. So yeah. Family is funny. Whee.
Where did I stow that extra motivation?
Our car is encased in a hard candy shell of street plow snow, ice, and more snow. I am looking forward to the thaw so we can figure out where the roof leak is coming from.
I wanted a grilled cheese sandwich for comfort food, but based on what was in the fridge, I had to go with the Texas equivalent: a half-corn, half-flour tortilla with melted cheese.
Dana, that actually sounds pretty tasty. And comforting.
I really should go to rehearsal tonight, since I missed two weeks while I was with my mother. On the other hand, I'm progressively feeling more and more like crap.
