I have Brussels sprouts to roast, based on enthusiasm here, but have yet to venture. Give me courage.
I DO, however, have the organzic frozen cherries from Costco in my belleh. Sweet weeping infinity they are GOOD.

I have roasted nothing today.
Instead, I walked the twins to the grilled cheese truck. GCT better in concept than in practice.
I just got home and one of my smoke alarm batteries is dying. Fuck. Wait, I know which one to rip off the wall!
'Sodes are freaky. It's anywhere in the range of "drink a small glass of water" to bad. But a lot of times it's just drinking a glass of water or having breakfast.

If he were still in So Cal, I could hook him up with some Serb-aphiles.
My (step)bro is super proud of his Serbian heritage. I'm waiting to ask about killing Franz Ferdinand and starting World War I. Some things, you save.
I have to get off the couch and take the dog out again. But she's passed out and it's so nice and cozy here.
So my big Valentine to-do tomorrow will include going to the hospital to donate blood.
It is from the heart, Kat.

That's too bad! Admittedly, it's pretty excellent in theory, so a small disappointment might still be acceptable.
I did not roast anything today, but roasted heads of cauliflower came up in dinner conversation. It's the zeitgeist. The Era of Roast Cruciform Vegetables.
Today was pick up my Box o' Meat at the Brewery Tasting Room Day, and this time I dragged along my parents and we shared a flight of whatever they had available. All quite tasty! That Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels is no joke. Haven't even opened my Box o' Meat yet but the label on the side says I got goat, lamb, beef, and pork. I am interested to see what cuts of which are in there. I still have ground pork and boneless lamb from last month, so clearly I need to step up my carnivorous dining.
