I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Highs in the 50s--in Utah in February! 12 years ago we were holding the Olympics! We're having temperatures like Sochi, which is a summer resort! The upside is it should be raining for the rest of the week, which means snow in the mountains. Yay, water!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

We have a 13% benefit rate for employees at my uni- the department has to pay that to central administration, and they use that pot of money to pay for our benefits.

This is the description of one of the lunches at work to day and it is making me laugh like a loon:

Oven roasted turkey complimented with a side of stuffing

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

WTF Google Maps!?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's all different!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sheryl, this might be relevant to your interests, if you haven't already heard about it. Texas A&M has begun a filk collection.

Yay JesseMilhouse!

Sox, you get LOTS of bonus points for not ranting and raving.

Consuela, that sounds very aggravating. But maybe they're expecting you to push back.

I did not sleep well last night but also don't think I slept badly enough for them to learn anything, if that makes sense. I couldn't fall asleep (not usually a problem!) and then tossed and turned--but on normal bad nights I can't breathe and clench my teeth, and I don't think it was a bad night in those respects. Fingers crossed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

WTF Google Maps!?

It completely stopped working for me over the weekend. I think it works now.

Oh, I clicked a thing a while back that said "Do not ever upgrade me to the new version of Maps" because the preview I tried out was so awful.

Agreed x10.

I hate change. Or at least that kind of change.

So I got up to go swim. I elected not to swim and instead ran errands that needed doing (including grocery store and drug store). Unsurprisingly 5:30 AM is a great time to pick up prescriptions and buy milk. I am depressed that my schedule is such that it's the only time I have to do that stuff.
