On second look, there's probably 1/2-1" outside right now. So that's a big "NO" on going anywhere not walking.

Kat, I would suggest you avoid thinking about baby Jillifonts. Eek.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Today in my jillifont friendly house I was startled to see one directly in front of my face, bouncing up and down most disconcertingly. Could not figure out what was going on until I realized..it had cast a thread down from one of the ceiling fan blades. I turned off the fan, and as it slowed down, the jillifont swung around and around like one of those fair swing rides. I tried to get video but of course you can't see it so I now have footage of my ceiling fan. It finally climbed up on the blade, webbed over to another and I lost track of it. I assume it left because nothing fell off when I turned the fan back on later.

I'm ok with jillifonts except poisonous ones. They have their place, just not where me and my cats go. I let a couple of wolfspiders have a bunch of fun on my porch this fall. Added to the halloween ambiance.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm ok with jillifonts except poisonous ones.

That's unfortunately most of them here. It's led to zero tolerance. I react ... poorly.

They are welcome outside. Unless actual Jilli is visiting, then I"d prefer they scamper to another abode for a while.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You know, I think we are less talky in general. Is this true, or is it because I am uber-talky because the SO is not home?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, we don't have ita around and she was very good at getting conversations going.

I went to bed early last night because I'm trying this thing where I act slightly more like an adult about my sleeping habits. Now I'm awake before 8am on a Sunday, and I don't know what to do with myself.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I went to bed early because I was tired so now I am up only slightly after I usually get up during the week. Which is kind of what I'm trying to do with my Sundays, since it's so hard to get things like laundry done on any other day, and I am better at getting stuff done in the morning.

Good thing I did today, as Walter was able to take advantage of a brief lull in the rain and enjoy the backyard for a little while. Now it's pouring again and he is all afeared. Not even thunder, just the sound of rain hitting the roof. Poor dog.
