Wash: Captain, didn't you know kissin' girls makes you sleepy? Mal: Well sometimes I just can't help myself.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So today we have electricity, but we lost our server about 9:30

Where did you last see it? Work from there.

OH GOD PROJECT PLANS.

(If there's nothing here, I go to Tumblr, and there goes half an hour)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have basically done no work at work this week. At least I had some meetings? Oy,

hip deep in pie

I've spent most of the week trying to deal with putting what should go into a db into Excel because we've been told we're no longer allowed to use Access. Watch me swear. Watch me spend hours trying to figure out a simple task. Watch me go on tumblr instead.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I have cleaned off my plate, and I have nothing left to do at work. Relatedly, today will NEVER END.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think that is to be expected, Jesse. Did you take any time off?

Orgy bed, le n? Any bed that markets itself as "fits four" better have some other features, like easy-to-clean, for starters.

It wouldn't work for me because it restricts how/where you can get out of it.

And I just realised my boss booked me all day, no lunch break. Now, I brought lunch, but he doesn't know that. And since he told me we'd meet at 12 and then 12:20 with a bunch of work to do before that, I don't think he was factoring in me leaving the building before 2 at the earliest. DUDE. I've been trying to set boundaries, but he says stuff like "I don't care what hours you work, as long as the work is done" (re: leaving at 3 yesterday) but still tries to contact me at the times blocked out on my calendar. He did apologise, but I think his reflexes are go go go.

The expectations on him are high like they were with my first boss here, and with a similar amount of CxO and Presidential inspection. That's exhausting. Especially if you're, you know, me.

Just Monday at the hospital and then Tuesday. We're having the funeral/memorial service in September, so I'll need at least one (maybe two) days then, and we get three bereavement days.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

This week I have mostly scheduled work travel, attended meetings and some trainings, created a ton of new email filters, and read a lot of things.
