I am so sorry to hear about your boss. Have you seen him?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

What are people doing this weekend?
Working a lot. I've got final preview for one show tonight at 8 PM, then tomorrow I'm in tech for another show from 10 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday in tech from 1 PM to 10 PM. I've got a rental package to finish putting together and deliver to Universal Studios either later this afternoon or tomorrow morning before 9 AM, then I'll need to pick it up either Sunday morning late Sunday night. Before tech tomorrow morning at 10 AM I need to finish building the sound cues for the show. In and around all of this I have a few more bids for upcoming work to finish up, some rentals to follow up on, and I'm still trying to find the time to finish categorizing about 200 receipts from 2013 so that Pix and I can get to work on prepping to meet with the tax accountant.
Hee! I'm still unpacking. I am trying to sort through everything and only keep the absolute minimum at the house and put the rest in storage. It will be a lot easier to show for sale that way.
My mother is stressing about not only washing her hair, but styling it. She wanted to know if I could help put rollers in. I told her I'd try, but she probably wouldn't like the results.

dammit.
Jessica,
that was FANTASTIC.
I'm going to try not to obsess about the issue at work that's been filling me with rage and despair for the last two days.
Other than that, go up to Wilmington to celebrate my dad's birthday, maybe go to a bike swap on sunday to find a kicking around town bike. Tonight it's nails and drinking.
Going to try to make it through the day after a shitload of deadline today!!!! work was just thrown at me. Then home to collapse. However, I going to see the NT Live Coriolanus tomorrow!
I'm going out tonight with a few friends, then will be searching for stuff to do with Rose tomorrow, since M will be at an all-day training thing and the weather is looking too crappy to go to the park. We'll probably spend some time at the library -- we could use a few new books to read, and the main branch has a nice big kids section with toys and puppets.
Which reminds me, Calli, if you're looking for gift suggestions for a one-year-old, maybe a book or two? I don't know what your bookstore would have on the shelves, but I think that's just about the right age for a Richard Scarry book, with all the things to point at. Rose is still a big fan.
