I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, sounds good, Consuela! Good luck!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

And check to see if there are any shows I want to go to while I'm in NYC in two weeks.

Y'know, some of the best stuff in NY over the last several years came from here. IJS

And Duane Reade was sold out of Hot Hands again. Maybe I'll just order a case from Amazon and keep them in the basement for the next polar vortex.

I haven't found those anywhere. Today I chopped up a ThermaCare thing meant for the neck/shoulders to keep my fingers and toes from freezing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My sister has seen Twelfth Night three times at full price, so I can highly recommend that one even if I haven't seen it myself.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My roommates are from Maine and Alaska. They think everyone flipping out is hysterical. The one from Maine wore shorts the other day on principle. Disturbing.

I have a neighbor who wears shorts all year round, and this morning was the first time I have ever seen him in long pants. I was surprised he even owned a pair.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The low this morning at home was +5. I call that cold but not worth freaking out over.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Our fault. We bought like $40 worth before Xmas in anticipation of some coooold football games.

I am so glad this was the year I acquired a really good coat and some snow pants. My boots are not warm enough.
