I haven't found those anywhere. Today I chopped up a ThermaCare thing meant for the neck/shoulders to keep my fingers and toes from freezing.
Our fault. We bought like $40 worth before Xmas in anticipation of some coooold football games.
I am so glad this was the year I acquired a really good coat and some snow pants. My boots are not warm enough.
I don't know how quickly they can get them to you, but [link]
Good luck, 'suela!
all you traveling people are making me jealous jealous jealous and I may be thinking not the nicest thoughts.
Ahem, msbelle.
I have been in e-learning hell all day today, with a bit yesterday too. Managing the sales cycle. Urgh. BUT I passed the final test with an 88%. Minimum pass is 80%. Someone please tell me there is no need to go back and retake it to get above a 90%, because I think I should have done better.
And hi, Natterers. I know I've been absent, but I'm reading and sending good thoughts everyone's way.
Maria, if it makes you go urgh there is no need for you to spend more time on it. Passed = done.
I don't know how quickly they can get them to you, but [link]
Ooh, I'll have to look at that again when I get home.
Timelies all!
Hi, Maria.
Winter is my least favorite season, and this winter isn't going to change my mind. Bleah.
Done is done, I'd say, unless it will nag at you.
They took a pass at my road today and actually cleared it down to pavement. Random complaining into the glowy box worked. Score.
Iceland in 2015, is that for the solar eclipse? Man, I want to see that. Let's all go.
I've been emailing back and forth with a sixth cousin (I think). She's traced the family back to before Jews in Germany had last names. The furthest-back ancestor she's found was a man who was born in 1710, who had at least three sons, who all got different last names. One of the three names makes sense -- it's a version of the father's first name -- but we have no idea where the other two came from. Best guess is that they came from house symbols -- most houses in those villages were marked with symbols, rather than numbers, and a lot of people took their name from the symbol of whichever house they were living in at the time.
