3 degrees here. Snow day#2 after a long weekend. Have forgotten what day it is and any motor skills except those required for the rainbow loom.
I interviewed my editor yesterday for a web column, and she linked tv tropes once for an anime citation. I didn't say anything then, but now I want to go point that link somewhere else.
NYC is a balmy 9 / feels like -7.
Do not ire the Buffistas, for their anger is subtle and implacable.
I swept off the steps, but I know it will need re-doing after the neighbor gets done with the snowblower. I guess I'll wait and see if he's done by 9, and leave then either way. He should be, since the snow is so light, and there's not that much of it.
Chill down here too! 53! I told Zoe she had to be quick with her walk and get right down to business, and she listened. Good doggy.
It's snowing here, but not too bad yet. I am at work, because I am stubborn.
I have to get to work. But that means going outside in -2 degrees, and walking about half a mile from the parking garage to my office.
It isn't bad here, but I am still not to work. I am super frustrated because I had an important meeting at 9! I somehow snoozed my alarm clock so that I didn't wake up again until I sat bolt upright at 8 am. I immediately called a cab. They said 15 minutes. I went outside at 8:15. I emailed my boss at 8:30 that I might be a little late if they didn't come soon. It is a 15 minutes drive. At 8:40 I called and was told 3 minutes. At 8:57 I called and the dispatcher yelled at the driver. At 9:07 I got picked up! The traffic is horrible. We have been in stop and go traffic for 20 minutes.
I am going to miss the whole meeting with big!boss and my boss will have to cover for me and tell me what is happening.
It is my own fault for sleeping through the alarm( it was still on when I woke up, but it was a song, so it ended)
It's gotten up to 6°F! And the wind is nasty. I swept/shoveled. Again.
Telecommuting again. I may lose my mind.
There's no way I'm comfortable getting out of my neighborhood and I don't know when that will improve.
