It isn't bad here, but I am still not to work. I am super frustrated because I had an important meeting at 9! I somehow snoozed my alarm clock so that I didn't wake up again until I sat bolt upright at 8 am. I immediately called a cab. They said 15 minutes. I went outside at 8:15. I emailed my boss at 8:30 that I might be a little late if they didn't come soon. It is a 15 minutes drive. At 8:40 I called and was told 3 minutes. At 8:57 I called and the dispatcher yelled at the driver. At 9:07 I got picked up! The traffic is horrible. We have been in stop and go traffic for 20 minutes.
I am going to miss the whole meeting with big!boss and my boss will have to cover for me and tell me what is happening.
It is my own fault for sleeping through the alarm( it was still on when I woke up, but it was a song, so it ended)
It's gotten up to 6°F! And the wind is nasty. I swept/shoveled. Again.
Telecommuting again. I may lose my mind.
There's no way I'm comfortable getting out of my neighborhood and I don't know when that will improve.
I got to work with no problems, and of course my boss is here already, along with a very few other people. But she is in her office with the door closed, on her cell phone, so I'm not too pressed. At least the party tonight is not cancelled!
We really dodged a bullet -- we just got a couple-three inches in town, but an hour away it's like 16"!
OK, now she's on a work call -- she must have just been waiting for it when I walked by. Sorry, boss!
Not much snow here, but it's way too cold.
Does the school have any transportation from the garage to the various buildings? It seems like there should be some provision for such cold mornings.
And...we're being sent home!

Not really. There are some buses that go through campus, but none of them connecting the places I need to connect. I might be able to get a golf cart if I went through a ton of bureaucracy, but that would still be cold.
Yikes, stay warm all you Easterners!
It's 43F and sunny here, like it's been nearly every morning for weeks. No rain in sight.
Me, I'm apparently a bit anemic, which might explain why my exercise program has felt so ineffective. But I ordered some iron supplements, and hopefully those will help my energy level.
It's been so cold this winter that I now have thermal gear in my wardrobe. My face, however, is all red and blotchy from windchill. Ugh.
Made it to work in time for meditation two days in a row!
