Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, most spots where I decided to skimp on the primer I regretted it later.

Oh, that's a good thing to remember. I only got a quart, which was maybe a mistake. But it's just the top half of three walls in a tiny room, so we'll see. There is still a lot more scraping to be done.

But now, turkey chili! I have done so much today for a Saturday!

I'm still feeling hungover. Managed to get some more sleep by blowing up the air mattress in the basement when I couldn't hear the banging of the construction so much. Now I'm at costco. Didn't but anything but gas, but was tempted by many things. The though of carrying them around and waiting in line to buy then seemed like too much effort though.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I got dressed today, for definitions of "dressed" that equal exercise gear. Stretch class followed by pruning rose bushes. Massively. Still have two more days at least of rose pruning ahead of me if I aim to clean up all the roses in the front, but at least we've made a good start.

But I do have an apple pie cake in the oven, and some snickerdoodles baked.

Oh man, those both sound soooo good right now.

I think next on my day's agenda is a shower, a long, hot shower. Followed by take out for dinner as I am ready to start the relaxing part of the evening.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My fear with Catching Fire was realized, there is no good way to end it without causing massive WANT WANT WANT for Mockingjay. How people who read it when it came out waited for Mockingjay I do not know. I read the back to back and that is what I want from the movie.

Previews were underwhelming. One looked good, also based on a book, can't remember the title. dystopia - teenagers put through a test for some selection process for what the would do the rest of their life.

eta - Divergent - found it on imdb. Did anyone read the book? good?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, right, that was my justification for waiting to see Catching Fire until Mockingjay was getting ready to come out. Maybe I will stick to that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My getting dressed consisted of Wonder Woman/Supergirl/Batgirl comics print pyjama pants and a black hoodie.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Divergent - found it on imdb. Did anyone read the book? good?

It's a trilogy, and I liked the first 2 quite a bit. The third had some problems.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I got dressed three times today (to go to the pool, to come home and live and then for a hike).

My waterproof iPod died and even though I have done a factor reset it still hates me. So I ordered a sony waterproof walkman and we'll hope for the best. All of my music players have been apple for a decade so this should be weird.
