Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

She hasn't responded. Typical. She probably won't.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just saw a Facebook ad for "office-appropriate yoga pants."

....No.

they're going to open a cider-based place downtown.

Sweet! I've recommended Farmhouse at my office and look forward to the new place, because I could go for a bucket of cider right now.

Also very cool: starting next week, a coworker is holding daily morning meditation sessions. I'm going to make sure I haul my ass into the office in time to go to them when I'm not traveling for work because I clearly need more structure in my life.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I wear yoga pants to work sometimes. The pair in question have pockets, and I wear them with long tunics or kurtas that come down to my knees.

These were like, yoga pants with detailing to make them look like tailored trousers. Like jeggings, but in black.

information libertarian

But academia does not have "office" standards of dress, IMO. And leggings with a tunic is different.

I actually feel like "fine for your workplace/job" is different from "office appropriate." That's a higher bar to me. Obviously people wear all kinds of leggings to all kinds of jobs.

Where I was like, oooh perfect! But then I looked at them and they were indeed black jeggings and was disappointed.

I really want some pajama style pants for my office. Drawstring linen pants are the closest I get.
