That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I got rear-ended on the way home from work today, but there wasn't any damage. I literally said "What the fuck?!" after it happened, because I was stopped at a light and I knew the guy behind me had stopped too. Turns out the guy behind him had rear-ended him, pushing his car into mine.

And it didn't have anything to do with the snow: The guy who caused it explained that he was distracted because his daughter had just told him she had something stuck in her teeth.

So I guess the moral is: Keep your kids' teeth clean?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad there was no damage, anyway, tommyrot.

My goodness I am tired. It seems unreasonable that I should be this tired after doing so little today, basically just sitting at a desk for hours. But there it is.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Damn. Glad you're okay. Someone scraped the hell out of the back of my (parked) car today.

Damn. That sucks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad you and your car are okay, tommy!

-t, I was just ExHausTed this morning. No reason. Finally gave up and laid down at 11:30. Slept like a rock until 2pm, and then I felt great. I blame all this stuff on hormones.

Now I'm angry at the guy. How distracted do you have to be to rear-end cars stopped at a stoplight?

His car was damaged. From when he rear-ended someone a week ago.

eta: Now I wish I had tried to see if he was drunk.

My 2:30 meeting only ended at 4:45 because the firealarm went off.

I'd been there since little after 7. Uhg.

When my car didn't even have 50 miles on it, I was very gently rear-ended by a lady at a stoplight. Long after we'd both stopped. Her foot slipped off the brake (which is why gently. I'd first thought the tub of catlitter had fallen over.) She said 'this just keeps happening!' Um.

I admit, I did that once. Just misjudged the stopping distance. Drove the car I hit into the car in front of them and everything. But not twice in a week, that seems excessive.

Zen, I am torn between just wanting to go to sleep right now and being pretty sure that would result in me waking up at, like, 3 am and then being even more tired tomorrow evening when I have this damn work party to go to. I think staying awake makes more sense at the moment. I may sleep all Saturday, though.

Yeah, I was distracted for a half a second to a second when I rear-ended the guy a month ago. If I had been looking ahead I would have noticed the car ahead of me had slammed on its brakes.

You know what? I feel really bad about causing that accident. And I've been driving much more carefully since then. And he made the same mistake again, a week after the first time.

OK, perhaps I'm obsessing a little. Shutting up now.
