She was in a S7 episode called "Slash Fiction" (if you can stand it), and she's visible in a diner booth during a key scene.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Amy, how old is she now? I mean she wrote The Outsiders when she was 16. So is she in her 50s?
I guess? I'd say at least mid-50s? She has grown kids.
Oh I didn't realize she wrote that so young, I was envisioning someone much older. Like your grandma writing fanfic.
"Honestly, if you see her with a caffeinated beverage, knock it out of her hand, onto the ground. Tell her, 'This is why you're going to die alone, with your cats, and get your face eaten off.'""Yes, you're right, I will."
Wait, CAFFEINE is why I'm going to die alone with cats?? How did I miss this memo? And does it still apply in Seattle, or just among Mormons?
It's a slippery slope, meara. First it's a Coke, then who knows what. (No, seriously, who knows what?)

First it's a Coke, then who knows what. (No, seriously, who knows what?)
Step three

I have a couple of mormon students who regularly talk about the terrible awfulness of coffee beverages. Ironically, they try to harass the teacher who is also an evangelical Christian. They all argue amongst themselves and, from the outside, it looks like the engagement of irrational religion-based rules.
Reminds me of the time I saw the two Mormon "elders" talking with one of the Jehovah's Witness people ....
Finally out of the office during work day. Sent to get a tire fixed in the bosses giant truck. But at least out for a bit.
