Mmm, now I want to stand like Wonder Woman!

Happy birthday msbelle!!!

My school seems to teach the kids multiple ways to approach problems, which seems like a pretty good policy, actually. There's more than one way to skin a cat, but if the method isn't one I know or remember it can be hard to help.
I had totally forgotten the words "numerator" and "denominator" when fractions first came up. I was like, "There must be a word for the top part of a fraction - now what IS it!"
Woot Emmett!
How does Wonder Woman stand? Do you mean feet apart, arms bent slightly behind you so your lats are tightened?
Feet apart, hands in fists on your hips.
also known as angry child pose. It is a power stance and actually makes you feel more powerful.
Arms akimbo! (I love that word.)
Akimbo!
Was it Nancy Drew or Trixie Beldan that stood "arms akimbo" all the time?
Probably both. I think even Cherry Ames stood that way occasionally. (I actually read very few Trixie Beldens, but I LOVED my mom's old Cherry Ames books.)
Trixie. I love that description.
