We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Vintage-fannish Buffistas might enjoy this article about vintage coats written by our very own Holli.

Holli writing for The Toast! Awesome!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

today was tedious work day: scanning in then uploading receipts, scanning in then uploading self evaluations, printing out expense reports to match with hardcopy receipts to file in storage (as back up to the online).

I am done with my expense reports, but still have my boss' to do. Also scanning and uploading for misc other people, why? I don't know.

not hard work, but paper messy and tedious, as stated. Also slightly annoying when interrupted by the phone every few minutes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was in meetings all afternoon, and then had to figure out all the ins and outs of bringing a new person on board. Including the HR person telling me I need to find someone outside of my department to be her "buddy." Dude, HR person -- you know how long I've been here! I don't know anyone outside my department! At least, not well enough to ask them a favor. Sheesh.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Somehow I managed to get more sleep both nights of the con than I did the night I got home. Sleepy....

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My ankle is much better today than I expected it to be. However, my jeans were a casualty of the fall. So now I get to figure out if they still actually make the jeans I like.

And of course, my jeans no longer exist.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is always the way.

You guys, I want to make buttermilk biscuits constantly until I get really good at it. That is reasonable, right?

I walked the reasonable-for-walking half of my commute tonight! The bus was all fucked up, and I had to get out of there. It was a good call. But maybe not again when I'm not really wearing walking shoes.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You guys, I want to make buttermilk biscuits constantly until I get really good at it. That is reasonable, right?

Yes. The only fault in the logic it that you will then be good at making buttermilk biscuits and you'll want to make them all the time.
