I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Really, it is a day or so of work for the plumbing, probably a day for the yard guys....and a few hours for me digging and replanting. Really, not bad. Not like some. BUT I DON'T WANT TO.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No, of course you don't, but once it's done it's done, right?

Yup. But first, need to get over hating the phone and calling for bids/videoscoping to see if truly necessary.

What I really want to know is who is cutting metal a block or so over at past 11 at night the past couple nights? Sounds serious.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Brenda, your delivery guy never made it past the first word of the slogan.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ayup. It occurred to me that "for stoners, by stoners" might also be apt.

Managed more than 5 hours of consecutive sleep (you'd think this wouldn't be a thing for someone who loves sleep and hates waking as much as me, but it's been rare for the past month or so) and even the cats cooperated.

Now to finish the coffee and think about cleaning this first floor. As long as Pumpkin doesn't sabotage me....

I managed to make a cup of coffee with no mishaps this morning, hooray! Now to get in as much To Do List clearing (which includes buying more coffee because that was the last of it, would have been trouble if it had gone wrong) as I can around watching the Niners.

Because books.

I'm pretty sure my mattress is trying to kill me.

That's such a shame when something you expect to be supportive turns homicidal.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Like so many things, I have realized that cleaning stuff out of the basement is fine to do in little dribs and drabs. There is big stuff that will need big removal, but I just took 10 minutes and cleared out some of my grandmother's empty boxes and also a bunch of Fleet enemas that expired in 1990(!!). If nothing else, the recycling and trash barrels can only take so much. And now I have a good spot for my Christmas stuff. So that's good!
