Long pig.
It's a little unsettling how our conversations seem to come back to this on a fairly regular basis.

So interesting, Bev. How much did/does that training affect the way you speak? Reading the last few posts makes me realize that I'm pretty lazy, but if you'd asked, I probably would have said I have good diction. I mean, I do just fine, but I talk pretty fast, so a lot runs together and consonants drop out
Not Bev, but I tend to ramp it up and down depending on the circumstance. It's very handy on the phone.
Timelies all!
Am in the airport waiting for our flight to Atlanta.
In the slow cooker: shrimp, calimaria, cuttlefish, scallop mixture from Trader Joe's+ ground chicken, cooking with leeks, onions, garlic, mushrooms, fresh straight parsley (curly parsley is decor not flavor) salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, marjoram, honey, lemon juice basalmic vinegar, To add at later stage - mixed greens (spinach, collards, mustard, turnip) thin sphagetti and mozzarella. eight servings total - will freeze in form of four two person servings. This dish brought to you by "5 main ingredients or fewer my ass".
I'm thinking about a burrito for dinner.
Oh wait, I should not have a burrito. I have plenty of finger foods to eat at home.
I'm under the weather and asked Tim to stop by the cheap Chinese place and bring me egg drop soup. Also maybe shrimp in lobster sauce.
I've got a four-bulb chandelier in my living room. Two of the bulbs were not working. I just got up on a ladder and unscrewed one of the dead bulbs. This one was, in fact, dead -- the filament was clearly broken. But when I removed it from the fixture, the other "dead" bulb turned on. I thought maybe it was just slightly unscrewed, and when I removed the other one, it jiggled it into place, so I tried screwing it in tighter. The whole glass bulb part came away in my hand, leaving the metal base of the bulb still screwed in. What am I supposed to do now?
potato.
Seriously, shove a potato over the broken part of the bulb and screw it out.
