Interesting! The idea of oatmeal clafouti.
I do not know what to eat for dinner. My already-prepared-meals algorithm says chicken soup, and sure, I could do that, but that somehow sounds better for lunch tomorrow? Also, I would have to thaw some stock to add to what's in the jar (by design, but stashing ALL the extra stock in the freezer was probably not teh smartest move). Hm.
I told Dad I would take him to the movies tonight. And now I don't want to go. (Nebraska, btw, with Bruce Dern.)
But I haven't seen him since Sunday, so I will be a good daughter and go.
My commute home this evening took two hours. My evening is pretty much shot and I have no idea what to make for dinner.
I'll probably go with a chickpea burger and some red bell pepper with hummus.
That sounds good.
Maybe I will have a quesadilla. I've got all the ingredients and it's not very demanding to put together.
I hope you end up having a good evening, Consuela.
So I just heated up some blueberries with a little blueberry jam and put it over leftover buttermilk biscuits, and it is delicious! And now I have only had foods that start with B for dinner.
That meal was brought to you by the letter B and the number 3.
The past two nights I've had family anxiety dreams, but the first nights was so bad that I stayed home. I was disturbed and undone and I don't I is where it came from and I'll refuse to talk about it ever and never mind move along .
Having grown up with a family of alcoholics, they do a NUMBER on those closest to them. Have you ever checked out al-anon? Helps get some distance and with the bottomless rage and heartbreak which comes form dealing with a drinker.
Good for you, Brenda, for giving her a good loooong home, toe biting fluff and all.
Tonight I unpacked my workbench and assembled the drawers. And reorged/rearranged/cleaned part of the basement so I have a good place to assemble it and put it! The main may be a two person job- Joe & Sarah have already volunteered, with a gleam in their eyes: it has a vice.
Repacked some old boxes of stuff, tossed out some old vacuums and fans in the alley for the roving junk collectors.
Pleased with tonight's progress.
