Amy, the kid is 6. Katie stayed up with all of the kids, I think. She's actually the one who agreed to watch the kid and technically it's her friend's kid so she agreed to handle it.
Dad arrived between 10 and 11. Unreal especially if you all know how bedtime is a super big deal in our family. Our kids were in bed at 7:00 PM on New Years Eve!

It's sunny out but it looks like it is snowing due to the wind. Not dealing with it yet.
I’m leaving for work now. Instead of walking five blocks to work, I’m going to walk one block to the subway and take it one stop.
Tom, I took one bus two blocks so I could catch another bus, rather than walking up a hill in the snow.
I made it to the Catskills mostly ahead of the serious snow, in a rental SUV that felt safe. Here's to all the people who have to be at work, you are heroes all.
