I can't decide whether to work from home or to go in today. I am sure I can make it but it is 3 degrees and since I ride public transportation, I could be stuck outside for awhile. I also have to wash my hair, and it will take forever to dry (and it is much too cold to go outside with it wet!)

If working from home is an option, I vote for that.
I'm working from home. Between these weirdass sneezing fits and I don't want to shovel at this hour/temp/wind...I have my work laptop. No one needs to be a hero.
I can VPN and or log into Blackboard. I may text my student worker and see if she can work at home, too, as she has no boots and walks!
I'm still at my parents', where it's 10 degrees, windchill -3. About eight inches of snow so far.
Pretty sure I'm working from home for the morning anyway but nobody else has emailed in about it yet and I don't want to be the first one.
We are in the middle of the snowstorm and I am at work. They never cancel, and i always come out of sheer bloodimindedness.
If you ever hear that I died in a snowbank, avenge my death!
Amy, the kid is 6. Katie stayed up with all of the kids, I think. She's actually the one who agreed to watch the kid and technically it's her friend's kid so she agreed to handle it.
Dad arrived between 10 and 11. Unreal especially if you all know how bedtime is a super big deal in our family. Our kids were in bed at 7:00 PM on New Years Eve!
Dad arrived between 10 and 11.
That is appalling. I hope K ripped him up one side and down the other and that he crawled to your front door on hands and knees, groveling.
Grrr. Not acceptable!
It's sunny out but it looks like it is snowing due to the wind. Not dealing with it yet.
