My dad called just as competition SYTYCD was starting, and now I have no idea what's going on. Argh, Dad.
I am so tempted to sit and watch Evening Relaxation on DogTV. Doesn't that sound pleasant?
It really does. Although now I'm also thinking PuppyBowl would be some good TV tonight.
I pulled my one of my hip flexor muscles in my left leg. Ow fuckity OW, that hurts. Getting in and out of my car is an exercise in "how can I bend that won't hurt?"
Bad speller, here. Big reader. A book a day through high school. 8- 12 a month now. As far as I can tell I read whole words, not sounds or letters.
Also I am a random capital person. Not even pooh case.
An acquaintance of mine (best hs friend of my Prague roomie, and she moved to B'more & loves it!) went to Bronycon and wrote up a nice article for CityPaper: [link]
Also, I really can't complain that they called to move my dental cleaning up half an hour and then I had to wait 20 minutes. But gnerg. Made the last half hour at work kinda crazy.
You can too complain about that! That's annoying.
My headache from sniffing glue is finally abating.
I'm whiny today. And I made snarky editorial comments in email that I probably shouldn't have. And in meetings. But I did make a point to thank someone for some serious PITA work I've got him doing.

WHY DON'T I HAVE CABLE??? I would totally watch this!
The OC was 10 years ago.
I guess I should accept that I'm not going to get around to watching that. Weird.
Oh, man, S1 is so so SO worth it. Good stuff.
(Seriously, 10 years? Fuck, I am old.)
You're right. It's never too late. And there's apparently room in my Netflix queue for the first season.
At my current movie watching pace I can expect to get to it in another 10 years...
Oops. I started a spelling conversation and then disappeared into work for the rest of the day.
I didn't intend to pick on how kids spell. (In the back of my closet I still have a box labeled in crayon "Odes and Ends") Their brains are still being wired. I meant that reading can play a big part in creating that wiring. I do get it, though, that no learning method will work the same way for everyone.
