I scored with 70% christmas stuff at Target, only 2 bags of stuff, but good stuff I needed, like cards for the next 2 years.

rsvps are at 11! for the come and go casual hootenanny at my place wed. good stuff, I can make all the foods. still 21 people plus families not responded, but whatever. the people who are coming are people who will totally get along and talk amongst themselves. YAY.

In the last week I've exposed both of my children to the Firefly pilot.

Emmett's take: "There's only 13 episodes? Why?! This is good!"

Matilda's take: "Is that her [Inara's] boyfriend? [JZ tries to find an appropriate way to discuss a Companion]

Matilda: "So she has a lot of boyfriends?"

(Also, lesson learned. Matilda is not ready to watch Firefly.)
