Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell, when can we do a coat exchange?

Sorry for disappearing, had to eat dinner. Um, we may be heading out of town Monday or Tuesday. And then I have work to do on Liz's apartment on Friday when I get back. So, um, sometime between Saturday the 4th and Tues the 7th? Do those days work?

6 people is better than no people, msbelle!

I wish people would stop asking me if I have plans for NYE and my birthday. They look at me in befuddled disappointment when I say that I have plans to stay in my pajamas, drink some Prosecco, and catch up on movies & TV.

Those must be heavy-duty hooks in the walls--do you have to put them in the studs? I would love a hammock...

Just realized there should totally be a dating service named Studfinder.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yup, into the studs.

Walkietkies. Bought 2 for Xmas, was dragged into endless games with them( including in separate cars while moving and racing each other) and bought 3 more( doubles sold out, fuck that shit, I'll get an extra) and they're endless entertainment and enjoyment.

Since last, moved in, got living room together for me to sleep &movies on the tv, masterbed agreeable. Today I cajoled my SIL into unpacking the kitchen to her protests of not knowing where to start all the way to only pantry which needs shelves hung stuff to go. And she still has empty shelves!

I've got crazy bruises, haven't swam in a week, carried mattresses singlehanded to the amazement of contractors and goddamn, my brother, SIL and nephs are home. And I'm glad I was here to help.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

So last night I managed to break my big toe in two places in the process of not quite falling down the stairs -- basically, I managed to toe-plant like a ballerina, only less gracefully and more painfully.

I don't need heavy-duty painkillers, it only hurts when I move it. I'm trying to remember that pain is the body's way of saying 'don't do that.' We'll see if the lesson takes.
