Bless McPhee, my place stays pretty clean, so I am not going to do too much for having people over, just pile some stuff in the guest room.

I think I should probably take the big tree down and maybe just leave up the two small ones until the Kings come.

I actually think this is exactly what I need to kick some things into high gear, like rearranging some rooms.

right now I am at that horrible place of refreshing the evite page every 2 seconds, because I am convinced no one will come, because I smell and they do not like me.

I'd come if you weren't in Texas.

Or more specifically, if you were closer. Being in NY wouldn't help me much either.

My big day includes a trip to the library.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was pretty sure my grandmother had been on the same account as my parents, but when I plugged in the box that was here, it didn't work. Meanwhile, my mother decided to switch companies. So that took a couple of weeks, and then another while before she actually went to pick up a second box. I was a little afraid I was going to have to do something with the actual cables in the basement, but no -- they were already hooked up! So with the new box, everything works perfectly. Phew!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I was trying to watch some Netflix stuff on my parents' TV, but my sister had logged into Netflix earlier with her account and hadn't logged off. So I tried to find a "logout" button somewhere, but couldn't find it. After googling, I found that the solution is to press up up down down left right left right up up up up on the remote, and that will open a "do you want to log off?" screen. As far as I can tell, that is the only way to log off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's bizarre.

netflix could do a lot to increase usability. I am not sure why they took off the date things will roll off the streaming availability. Not sure why they took off the ability to put disk not yet streaming on your queue. Not sure why you can't remove a season of a tv show after you have viewed it, or why you can't reserve or mark where you are on a season.

Because books.

My biggest problem with Netflix on the TV is using the Xbox controller to navigate it.
