One of my friends posted a sonogram photo on Facebook, with a Santa hat photoshopped onto the fetus. That's weird, right? It's not just me?

My "system" of buying wines because I like their name or how their label looks and then letting them sit for several years because, really, my wine buying rate and my wine consumption rate are out of sync pays off again. 2005 Earth Zin and Fire = tastier than I expected.

We bought crown royal (blech) today, but it's maple-infused. It'll be AWESOME for butterscotch, but it is not good drinking. However, I just made a dutch baby and replaced the sugar with maple sugar and maple-infused whisky. Delish.
