We have a nine pound ham if anyone wants to come over.
There's a place in my hood that's been there since the 40s that sells hams, mustard, and recently smoked turkeys. And when you only plan a few days ahead nine lbs is the smallest you can get. But it's so delicious!
There will be three of us for dinner. I told them to stock up on Tupperware.
I would like some ham! We're having boeuf bourgignon tonight and turkey tomorrow.
That's a lot of ham! Yum.
Lost LDB at the grocery store. I almost didn't notice, but I was singing along and the lyrics eventually registered.
We're about to get on the road. What am I forgetting?
Electronic devices? Chargers and cables for same?
Pills?
x-posty-poo.
Contact lens solution? That's what I forgot.
The laptop cord has to wait until I finish watching the Sherlock mini-episode.
My kids have bunk beds now!
My parents dropped off the loft from my old bunk bed (from The Door Store or something, ridiculously sturdy heavy wood) on their way up to Boston, so DH and I spent about an hour putting it together. Now we just need to decide if we dismantle the crib today too, or let Aeryn have a few days transition. (I'm thinking a few transition days would be good, both for her and to give us a break from dust and construction.)
Unfortunately the sheets I ordered from Amazon are due to arrive today so we can't go out for a celebratory lunch. But we CAN order celebratory takeout! So I'm thinking tacos.
Tomorrow we are having a proper lazy Jewish Christmas with our neighbors - takeout Chinese and DVDs and kids in jammies all day.
