Today we did a bunch of shopping but didn't buy much other than at the grocery store. Where we bough the fixings for six kinds of cookies. We made two tonight to let them chill in the fridge overnight. Tomorrow, at least three other kinds. (Brown butter sea salt chocolate chip Nutella-filled ones, sugar cookies (the only sugar cookies I like), molasses cookies, almond cookies, and cornflake wreaths, which I ate half the bag of red hots already tonight. Oops)

Circumstances have just done that for me. I was driving up to Evanston and a SUV taking up more than it's fair share of road forced me into the curb. I have to get the rim of my tire looked at and possibly replaced before I go on a 9 hour drive. So... auto shop first thing Monday and hopes that it's taken care of early enough to make the drive.
I do think I saw tommyrot while I was in Evanston.

I'm fine. There was no contact between cars and my car seems to drive fine. The tire hasn't lost any pressure, but the rim is bent just enough to make the (plastic) hubcap look all messed up. I want to get it checked out before I make a long drive.
