'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

According to the comments, there's also a Pikachu with the same, er, feature.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The comments on this one are funny.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Hilarious and awful.

I am sitting outside the ikea ballpit. Noah really wanted to play and it is free. At least it is not chuck e cheese.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My co-workers and I walked over to the Google Wonderlab snow globe at lunchtime:

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That snowman ain't right.

You guys! New job, leaf: I just hugged a coworker on her way out for vacation. I mean, she started it, but I went along!

I had Arizmendi pizza for lunch, and I have the crystallized ginger I wanted to make some more cookies, but all I really want to do is nap.

That said, here's a fairly awesome bit of art: [link]

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That's so cool, Jessica!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gotta pack tonight, as we fly down to Florida tomorrow afternoon. It's the traditional visit with folks down there. I'll be pretty much dark, net-wise the whole time as my folks do not have wi-fi. Ah, well, there's books on my iPad, and I'm sure we can find something on cable. (Also, there's a movie theater less than a mile from my parents' place, and Gary and I haven't seen The Desolation of Smaug yet...)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was off work today, and I don't go back until the 3rd. It's very nice.

Msbelle, I'm glad Mac has someone who gets what grief can be like.

Gracey sounds like an awesome cat.
