Ha! This last episode of Scandal, where Papa Pope is laying into Fitz best speech ever. Everyone on this show except for David is completely reprehensible. But damn Rowan can speechify with the best of them.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This

We were supposed to get an Icepocalypse, but that part of the storm missed my town this morning. I was having panic attacks about how bad the commute would be, snow over frozen rain over the ice remnants of previous storms. But it looks like the "wintery mix" will hit during the day. North of here is horrible, though, and I feel a little guilty for how grateful I am.
My sinuses are frelled. Major sinus headache and way too much snot. Plus I have a fuckton of work to do. I'm pretty sure it is air pressure related. We came out of the deep freeze into a few 50 degree days, which went up to the high 60's yesterday and now we are back down to the low 40s with potential snow overnight. Joy.
I sent out a notice to my PMs that I'm going to take as much time off over the next two weeks as possible - so I'm waiting for the influx of "but I need X immediately". Which, I probably won't get until Monday morning.
Car partially unentombed. I think my neighbor cleared his spot by throwing snow against the front of my car, or else it just drifted up between them. Bad pool, unidentified neighbor.
Cool, my brother just called me with a job for me. For which I will get paid! And I don't have to get off the couch to do it, either.
And I don't have to get off the couch to do it, either.
Couch jobs are the best!
...although I suppose my blood pressure disagrees with that.
I'm working from the couch right now AIFG. I'm also surrounded by kleenex and bottle of water. Wheeee.
Yay for the couch job, Consuela!
I am overwhelmed by feelings of anxiety and misery today. I don't have time for this! Waiting for Xmas to arrive is like watching a slow motion train wreck.
I love my couch job. Well, love that it's a couch job, and often love the job part as well.
I don't have time for this! Waiting for Xmas to arrive is like watching a slow motion train wreck.
I'm sorry to hear that! For us, it's just a holding on issue.
