I am trying not to be proactively anxious about being moved into a new space we are getting that evidently has no windows. I don't know for sure my team will be moved there and, if we are, that the space won't be reconfigured by the time we move. But if it happens I'm going to be really pissed and sad about losing my current window situation!!!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I so hope I get a window in our new building. Or at least a seat away from the supervisors' offices
I know I'm pretty lucky and it may seem petty to complain (about something that may not happen) when I have a physically easy job for which I'm well compensated but still...it will make me pretty unhappy.
Buffista parents, would you take a child to the ER for a 104.5 fever but no other symptoms (apart from perhaps being sleepier than usual, but that's a hard one to gauge)?
urgent care for sure, but E rarely runs a fever.
Not a parent, but I'd be worried enough about anything over 102 to seek medical care.
Absolutely, Kate.
Thanks, everyone. She's had a few fevers that have come and gone pretty easily, but this is the highest she's ever had and I'm worried. M just picked her up from daycare and is on his way to the ER now. Ugh ugh ugh.

Yes, a fever that high can cause problems in and of itself.
