I apparently have to hire someone ASAP, so I got access to the HR system, and man, are there a lot of terrible cover letters out there. There was also a note warning the reader away from a person who applies for every job here and was escorted out of a past job by security.
Also, it is snowing like crazy, but I think not accumulating too much yet? No one is ever getting home tonight.

I'm imagining it kind of like going through an automated car wash, but without the conveyor belt thingie.
I was trying to think of a kitchen appliance to compare it to, but I couldn't come up with anything that didn't end badly.
I am trying not to be proactively anxious about being moved into a new space we are getting that evidently has no windows. I don't know for sure my team will be moved there and, if we are, that the space won't be reconfigured by the time we move. But if it happens I'm going to be really pissed and sad about losing my current window situation!!!
I so hope I get a window in our new building. Or at least a seat away from the supervisors' offices
I know I'm pretty lucky and it may seem petty to complain (about something that may not happen) when I have a physically easy job for which I'm well compensated but still...it will make me pretty unhappy.
