And now I would like to report present-buying success. For my brother's girlfriend, who is a vegan and doesn't wear jewelry, pretty cotton shopping tote bags.

Ooh, I'm going to go back to that site! I really need to get cracking on shopping. Mostly, I need ideas, so that seems like a good place to get some!
I really like it. My mother's getting a scarf from there this year. They also have handmade journals and a buttload of jewelry.
Nice.
You know what's awesome? I keep thinking, "I wish I had a little something sweet," and then remembering I have Mallomars!!
It is flipping cold outside. I picked up some cold weather gear from Target last night so I wouldn't have an excuse not to exercise today.
Tom and I are in an uninsulated cabin in Breaux Bridge freezing our tits off. Happily, snuggling together for warmth is quite pleasant.
I do not like this freezing weather. I want my sinuses to stop being agonizing.
But in good news, this evening is the consultation appointment for my tattoo!
It is not super cold here! (Sorry.) (Relative to location.)
You know, I made a joke about giving everyone liquor for Christmas, but I may actually do that for the dudes. The men in my family are hard to buy for! Mostly because I don't get their respective tastes in books, unlike the women.
I would get my dad liquor, but he had to stop drinking before his liver exploded, so now nsm. I'll see what my mom and sister are thinking.
CJ and I went to the History Colorado Center. Great museum with lots of great interactive exhibits. At lunch we noticed a group of gentlemen come in wearing suits and two were wearing their Medal of Honor ribbons. CJ always makes a point to thank anyone in military uniform or an obvious veteran. He went and thanked each gentleman and shook their hands. Went we left he was so flustered and happy to have met two honorees.
We looked up the stats. About 90 were been given to a living honoree during the Vietnam war era and only 6 since. Based on their ages I'd guess we met one from each group.
