Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

She's his protege but got mixed up with the other side. Or an other side, anyway. It's kind of convoluted.

On the whole, I think I'm glad I went with Elementary. I wonder if that opening scene was *less* horrifying if you watch it regularly.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Starting Elementary, though I should be going to bed. I love how in the Sherlock POV Joan is schlepping around in raggedy t-shirts and denim.

Elementary did a thing. You've gotta get to it, though. And I went daaaaaaang. I guess I could go post in Procedurals.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, now I really want to stay up late and watch both Elementary and Scandal so I can see all the horrifying things!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm months behind on Scandal. Though I knew the one about the politician and the mistress and the wife as killer. I guess I'm too busy mainlining West Wing to catch up? I can only do one DC show at a time?

Hey guys, guess what? Grace's cap for her trache has come. So she was wearing her cap for a bit of time today. We'll have to work up to long terms, because she doesn't have as much muscle tone and I think she is going to fatigue with it.

What does that mean, Kat?

I'm not watching any of the horrifying things as it turns out. Too tired, and tomorrow will be a long day. I didn't fully realize that I signed up to be at work for 11 hours. Whoops.

Yes, do tell more, Kat. It sounds exciting?

I am now anxious to catch up on Scandal, though I think I probably won't until like, Saturday. Or maybe Sunday. Augh.

After being gone for Thanksgiving, and then gone Mon-just a few minutes ago tonight, I really want nothing more than to not leave my couch for the next few days. But tomorrow I have the monthly cleaning lady (and not only do I have work to do, I can't very well sit on the couch and watch TV while she cleans!), and then an appointment an hour away, and then I'm supposed to go to this stupid company holiday party, which I feel I should go to, and am always interested in talking to other people in my job, but also really don't want to go to some Garden Festival of Lights when it's freezing fucking cold, and then go eat at Maggiano's?? Uh, yeah. But I'll feel bad bailing when they confirmed our RSVPs just a couple weeks ago

And my house is weird and lonely because my roommate is all moved out and all her stuff is gone too. And I can't find my christmas ornaments. And I am a grumpy grumpypants.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think I'm turning it off now, before I can be sad that "Something Good" isn't in it. That's one of my favorite scenes.

Or you could watch and see her belt it.
