Not to mention that the one time he told me I could leave really early was after I had worked 13 hours of overtime the previous week, and the day he told me I could go was super busy and I had to work until 6pm anyway.

So I'm not at work today, because my father is back in the hospital after another seizure. Oy. So I was there with my mom for a couple of hours, and now she has a meeting so I am home. He's way better than he was after the last time, which is good, I think.

Nope. They thought the first one was just a fluke, so I don't know if now he'll go on anti-seizure meds or what.
oh yeah, it is totally illegal. I wish we ran on comptime, but we don;t, so to ask me to misrepresent my time sheet and then take time at another time while still saying I am working? totally shady and illegal. If I thought it would get him fired, I'd send that email to HR, but it would not, they would say to him "Your employee, R, has brought this to our attention - now stop it." and then I would be in a pile of shit.
and now, with no response, he has approved my half day off.
