Mm, bread and baked goods. I have never liked tangerines though. But looking forward to clementine season! They peel so easy!

Weirdness: my coworkers live all over and normally not anywhere near me (since we are supposed to cover territory regionally). But on this project one of my coworkers got permission to move about six months ago, and apparently went from Texas to Seattle. She asked the other day where I live-- turns out, just a few blocks away. She lives in the building next to where I dance. But then she apparently mentioned this to her one friend in town, who she knows from college....and that friend is my next door neighbor. As in we share a wall in our triplex. She's in B and I'm in C. So weird! I've still never met this coworker but we figure on having coffee one of these days.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's pretty wild, meara.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Small world!

Aw, which reminds me I'll never get to take advantage of the fact that one of my coworkers here lives across the street from my parents!

Unless you take advantage right now! Somehow.

I would like to report that hooking the space heater in my bathroom up to a timer so it goes on every morning without me having to remember to turn it on was possibly the smartest thing I ever did.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, that is smart.

You know, I have to think that the all-staff message about how we're not allowed to have space heaters in the office should have been a cue to Physical Plant to turn the fucking heat on.

Controversy! USPS puts foreigner Harry Potter on stamps: [link]

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The heated bathroom is a BIG incentive for the getting-up-in-the-morning process. I took advantage of the radiant floor heating in my aunt's house every morning I was there.

When I redo my bathroom, it's going to have in-floor heating.

Feel better, shrift. I hope you have some healing TV to watch.

I saw the Harry Potter ones when I was shopping for stamps the other day - they don't come in rolls so they were no good for me, but I did wonder about the Englishness.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have a vent right above the shower so on cold mornings I'll crank the heat up 6 or 7 degrees and get blasted with warm air while I shower. It goes back down after I'm out and dressed.
