But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I realized I have to start eating things out of my freezer and not just put stuff in there, so hashbrowns and sausages for breakfast it is!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I was going to go to the Organic Farm Fest today, but it's pouring outside. So much for that. Guess I'll stay in, cook some stuff, do laundry, practice guitar, and read.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The snap on my bag is tearing off. This is the same way I ripped my last bag, and I don't like how they have to mend it, by making stitches that are visible on the outside of the bag. I'm carrying around my Greendale Community College canvas bag in the meanwhile, which amuses the fuck out of me, but it's way too big, and encourages me to carry way too much shit.

The bag that broke was a suggestion of Lee's: [link] I can't practically imagine a much better bag if you carry a slim tablet (well, if it charges my stuff, it wins). The interior is described thusly:

3-section interior: 1 zippered compartment; 1 zippered compartment with cell phone sleeve and 2 accessory sleeves; 1 open compartment with zippered pocket and card slot

The cell phone sleeve is too loose to be useful, but the first zippered compartment fits a Galaxy Tab and a Simple Nook safely and without risk of scratching. Perfectamento.

Why am I waffling then? One of the reasons I don't buy expensive everyday bags is because I relish the chance to mix it up--there are so many small black leather backpacks out there, and so little time!

11"W x 12"H x 4"D is nice and small and tucks under stuff and doesn't look like I have my whole world on my shoulder (what crap shoulders they are to boot)--apparently people thought I was going home when I slung my Greendale bag over my shoulder for lunch.

This [link] isn't going to have a magic tablet pocket. But all those other zippered pockets! It makes me want to start shopping for the more perfectest bag of them all (I just watched Snow White And The Huntsman (watched--didn't listen to)). Look at thishttp://www.wilsonsleather.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11139947&clickid=body_rv_img! It could be good...

Sheeyit motherfucker.

The cleaner is here (which is different from Cleaner, let's be clear), so I stopped tidying. Bathroom and kitchen are good for her to go, and living room is better than it's been in a year. Sit back on fresh laurels? Or work this shit out? Or sit?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The snap not going through all layers in the reason it comes off. It is a sewing conundrum.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Currently sitting in the Neil Grayston talk/Q&A at Shore Leave. He's telling a story about flashlight wars between him and Colin.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm all for laurel resting, personally.

Then again, I feel all accomplished because I kept up with my TV watching schedule this week. My judgement may be suspect.

I support your priorities, -t.

So I guess I just have a little cold, which might be more annoying than a bad one? There's no real reason I couldn't be getting stuff done today, but I don't wanna, even more than usual!

Yeah, whenever I am fighting a little cold for a while, if I lose and I actually get sick enough to stay in bed and recover it's kind of a relief. But also the unpleasantness of a bad cold and you just have to wait it out, so the relief doesn't last long.

I forgot I am meeting someone for coffee this afternoon. I have to take a shower and get dressed! But not right this second.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have a predecessor of the bag you linked to, ita, which I have had for almost 10 years, and it is just now starting to show its age. I am going to be sad when I need to replace it

I have a bunch of handbags and like the idea of changing what I carry frequently SO MUCH but I've been stuck in a rut of the black and white bag that goes with everything for months. I should put more energy into mixing it up.
