Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Julie, I've been wearing a lot of scarves and wide headbands. I wore a bandanna all through college, for some reason, too. I've still got enough hair on top, it's just in the front that it's gone. So I've been wearing an assortment of Buff headbands low on my forehead, and my sister hates it. She says I look like Mick Jagger. I like them, but I don't want to wear them ALL the time. And I can't wear hats to dinner.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And I can't wear hats to dinner.

Etiquette allows you to. It's only guys that are bound by the bareheaded rule (and by "bound" I mean "ignoring").

mmm. I would feel weird about it, though.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whoa, Scandal. Damn.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I now think, in addition to all the other things you don't think about them doing, that celebrities are never working with just their natural hair.

Cats were excellent pinners.

Found out neighbor has badly dinged kidney, on top of the broken back. She was t-boned by a speeder. Her car was only 6 months old, her first brand-new car ever. Sounds like it did a helluva job, considering. I am amazed she was home within 9 hours of being hit.

OK, time to do one productive thing today (unless you count being a good bed as productive?) and go swim.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm pretty impressed at how bad the Steelers' throwback uniforms are. [link]

I am also impressed at the balls of the FOX marketing department, which just described "Almost Human" as a "ground-breaking new series."

Your poor neighbor, sarameg. That sounds terrifying, and like the effects will be hitting her for quite a while.

how bad the Steelers' throwback uniforms are.

WOW!

Good lord, sara! That's terrible.

Also terrible (but much less so, obviously) are those uniforms. The white guys look like they have no pants on!

In-between terrible is packing. Maybe I am a quarter done?

I had to put that game and see those uniforms on my own TV screen. Wow. I thought they might look less pantless on context, but no.
