I'm sitting in the dark and a Jillifont just walked across my laptop screen. I flicked it, but I have no idea where it landed.
Still, better than imagining it crawling down and landing on my lap. I can blissfully assume that it is now several feet over on the floor.
::shudders::
This leads to Skynet, right?
Yuuuup.
I went over to my parents' because my mother was going out, only to learn that there was a fire near where she was going, so she didn't bother. So they fed me dinner, and I came home! I even got a free transfer on the bus home, because it was so quick.
Congrats, Jesse! On the job, the timely coming of the letter, and the free transfer.
My 6th period is taste testing chocolate including ones with cracked pepper, chili, bacon, beef jerky and BBQ potato chips.
Yum!

I'm not sure "leads to" is the right verb. maybe just "is"?
Y'all were very amusing to catch up on today. I can't help but picture Design as a secret member of the Endless, now.
Congrats, Jesse!
Guess what I'm getting for xmas???? Another crown! Damnit. I pretty much knew that's where the tooth was heading eventually, I was just hoping it was fillable for now. NSM.
That'll make 3 for the year. And a good chance of 3 more next year.
Saying "Paul Ryan" would probably be evil and wrong, right, Ginger?
But, okay, maybe someone could make him *think* he had metastatic cancer for a month or two... it could be like the food-stamp challenge, but scarier.
I need cooking help again. Pete picked up pre-made shrimp and grits cakes from WF. How should I cook them? Pan fry? Bake?
They didn't come with instructions?
Man, biting into a pear that I'm not sure is ripe and finding that it is is a really wonderful feeling.
Nope. Pre-made fresh stuff that is purchased at the meat and fish counters never come with instructions. WHICH IS VERY FRUSTRATING.
Pan-fry, not too high of heat. Flip til nicely brown on both sides.

I've tried most of those. I made bacon fudge for my last dinner and Downton.
Jesse, your new place moves fast! Where I work, from interviewing to hiring often takes weeks.
I just saw Michael Ondaatje speak. (Except I was in the overflow room.) It was so great. I want to write novels and travel the world and listen to jazz now.
