Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't understand why hospitals on TV (or, OK, just Grey's) are so dark

I may not be remembering this right because I don't actually pay that much attention to the running the hospital aspects of the plot, but didn't they have to close some departments and possibly floors when they kept the ER open? Or something?

But yeah, they've always had that whenever they wanted to set the mood.

You know who's the best on Grey's? The FNL kid. Love him.

Yes, yes he is! I was bummed he was so underused the first season he was on, he's got some good stuff going on now, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, that guy! I also appreciate the actor's name being Gaius.

So, my thumb is all blistered from cutting, and I have a lot more to do! And that's just step one of the rug project. Somehow I think this may never actually happen.

I admit, I always think of him as Smash. I should at least think of him as Gaius if I'm not going to remember his last name (or his character's name, but I can blame that on Yang). Gaius is memorable.

Woe for the blisters! I am rooting for your heretofore cunningly concealed craftiness to emerge, Jesse.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's why I avoid being crafty, Jesse. Then again, I'm always envious of the crafty projects.

I do think it would be cute in the end, and the stuff won't go bad if I don't work on it for months, so. (It occurs to me that next weekend, I should start packing. Oy.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For some reason I can't see your shared notebook on my tablet, -t. I have no idea what's up with that. Maybe I need to click on the link from there too.

Woe is me. I have a ticket for today's Frankenstein screening, and I'm pretty fucking sure I'm not making it downtown two hours from now. This is slightly mitigated by having a ticket for the reverse cast at the end of November, but still...I wish I had the oomph.

Hit something with my car today! Someone parked a motorbike in the same parking spot as my car and I knocked it over getting out of the spot. With a passerby's help it was righted, and I left a note with my number, but I'm giving less and less fuck since WHAT IS THAT?

Weird, I can see yours on all my devices without doing anything extra. That I know of. Let me know if there's anything to be done from my end.

That is way too bad about the Frankenstein screening. Only a little too bad about the bike - parking in an already occupied spot is asking for trouble, sorry.

Being able to leave a project untouched for a while is a very important feature of craft projects.

Ugh ita, I'm sorry about both those things. I wanted to see Frankenstein with you but it became more and more apparent that today wouldn't work for me. Will try for the 30th with you.

Oy on both counts, ita!
